^Lot 592 Uberti/Navy Arms M1871 Rolling Block Target Pistol

Uberti/Navy Arms Model 1871 Rolling Block Single Shot Target Pistol, #02312, .357 mag. cal., 9.5'' half-round half-octagon blue barrel, color case hardened frame, brass trigger guard, smooth hardwood grip and forend, with globe front sight and flat-top elevator type rear sight. In wood Navy Arms presentation case with Navy Arms logo on lid and fitted maroon velour interior. Includes an additional dovetailed blade front sight. Made in Italy by Uberti and imported by Navy Arms. Mfg'd 1975. Condition is very good. Barrel with light scratching around front sight. Blued finish has toned and is now plum colored, approx. 95% remains. Approx. 95% deep rich case colors remain with some fading to the backstrap. Grips appear to have been re-oiled showing normal slight handling wear. Hammer and trigger operate smoothly, bore is bright with sharp rifling. Case is very good with scattered moderate scuffs and a few indentations to the exterior; silk fabric on inside of lid with a few scratched areas. It should be noted that the pistol does not fit properly in the case with the aftermarket front sight. Est.: $300-$400. (Modern/PPT)
